Exercise:

exercise by cycling or walkingThere are 168 hours in a week. If we sleep for 68, we have 100 hours to be physically active. Even if we only move ourselves briskly for 3 minutes continuously in each of the remaining hours that makes 300 minutes or 5 hours of exercise a week.

 

Walk for 15 minutes every day or an hour a week but walk.

Move more. Stand up while you are talking on the phone. Put a CD on and boogie 3 times a day. When watching TV during ad breaks march on the spot. You being just a little more active each day can save you lbs.

Use it or lose it – your bones are important and they need to be looked after join a gym or take up an interest that helps you to move more.

Dance more!

Yoga – try it.

If there is an area of your life that you would like to improve start to change it NOW.

Posture: Stand tall, pull in your tummy and hold your head up - be proud of who you are.

Don’t like exercise? Revive your love life with your partner three times a week and watch those calories get used up, muscle tone improve and you both will have a sparkle in your life.

Exercise at work – no problem – Park further away or get off the bus at an earlier stop. Swap sandwiches and biscuits for fruit and veg dips. Get an office team together to train for a fun run or start an office weight loss competition. Keep water on your desk and refill often. Use the stairs not the lift.
